These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GuardianShield, a family protection service operated by First Love Movement (Team ID: USNJL2MZ9B). By installing or using GuardianShield you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to create an account. By using GuardianShield you represent that you have the legal authority to install software on the child's device and to authorize the activation of content filtering on that device.
2. Description of Service
GuardianShield is a parental control solution that installs a configuration profile on your child's device to filter content. It:
- Installs an on-device content filter via a configuration profile
- Blocks AI companion apps, NSFW AI generators, and unsafe search queries on the child's device
- Sends the parent alerts if protection is tampered with or removed
- Provides a parent dashboard for monitoring protection status
Content filtering is performed primarily on-device. On Android, limited protection event data (blocked domain names, flagged search queries, and protection status) is synced to our backend so parents can monitor their child's protection status. No full browsing history or page content is transmitted. See our Privacy Policy for full details by platform.
3. Subscription and Billing
3.1 Pricing. GuardianShield is offered as a monthly subscription at $19.99/month for up to 10 devices. Pricing may change with 30 days' notice.
3.2 Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
3.3 Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
3.4 Trials. If a free trial is offered, you will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use GuardianShield only for lawful parental monitoring of devices you have legal authority to manage. You must not:
- Install GuardianShield on a device without the legal right to manage it
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or disable any part of the service
- Use GuardianShield to monitor any person other than a minor in your legal care
- Resell or sublicense the service
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
GuardianShield is provided "as is." We make no warranties that the service will block all harmful content or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. No content filtering technology is perfect. GuardianShield is one layer of protection and is not a substitute for parental supervision.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, First Love Movement's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of GuardianShield shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Love Movement, its officers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of GuardianShield, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
7. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse of the service. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to delete your data.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the phone number on your account. Continued use of GuardianShield after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
